Inspirations

I am influenced by a long lineage of teachers, healers, and writers, including Laura Perls, Fritz Perls, Esther Perel, Thich Nhat Hanh, Alexander Lowen, and Wilhelm Reich, John Daido Roshi, among many others.

Cost of Therapy

I am an out-of-network provider in my work at Frog Point Therapy. Clients pay Frog Point Therapy directly for therapy services; we bill once a month and provide a super-bill for client to use when filing a claim with their health insurance for reimbursement. Please call you insurance company directly to check your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement policy and procedures. My standard rate is $185 per 50-minute appointment.

You deserve to feel at home in your body!

I’m available for both in-person therapy at the office and tele-therapy online. If meeting online, clients must be in DC.

I work to help you better understand and tend to emotions as they happen in your body.

Somatic Psychotherapist

I specialize in treating trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and PMDD, with a strong emphasis on multicultural counseling and providing affirming therapy for individuals within the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, kink, polyamorous, and neurodivergent communities. My therapeutic approach has successfully guided clients through various life challenges, including trauma recovery, career transitions, relationship complexities, identity exploration, coping with medical diagnoses, existential dilemmas, and managing anxiety, depression, anger, and work-related stress. I use a variety of somatic, mindfulness, stress reduction, Gestalt, and existential approaches to therapy. I am in advanced training in Gestalt Therapy at the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies.
