Support for When Life Feels Overwhelming or Stress Feels Too Much
Do feelings of anxiety or relentless stress get in the way of your daily life? You’re not alone—and it’s not your fault. Both anxiety and ongoing stress are your body and mind’s ways of signaling that something needs attention. This isn’t about labeling or pathologizing you; it’s about helping you find grounding, build safety in your body, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
What We Work On
Managing persistent worry, racing thoughts, or overwhelm
Navigating the tension, restlessness, or exhaustion from ongoing stress
Physical symptoms like heart racing, tightness, or stomach discomfort
Breaking cycles of overwhelm, shutdown, or burnout
Creating space for your nervous system to slow down and heal
Setting boundaries to protect your emotional and physical well-being
Exploring how life stress, identity, and environment shape your experience
The anxiety and stress in your body is trying to tell you something important; but it’s hard to listen and hear on your own. Your emotions and inner experiences aren’t wrong or broken — they’re just loud and confusing when they need more compassion and gentle care. I’m here to help you learn how to work with what you experience, not erase or silence what’s there, and how to bring inner compassion when there is inner criticism.
Glen’s Approach to Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety and ongoing stress aren’t things to “fix” or force away. They are your body and mind trying to communicate—sometimes loudly, sometimes in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming. In therapy, we’ll gently explore what your body is trying to say, building a respectful, curious dialogue with your inner experience.
Together, we’ll find ways to calm your nervous system, create safety in your body, and develop tools that help you respond to stress with more choice and ease—not by erasing what’s there, but by learning how to work with it.
My approach blends mindfulness, somatic awareness, and Gestalt therapy to explore how stress and anxiety show up in your body and mind. We’ll notice patterns without judgment, find grounding in the present moment, and co-create new responses that feel spacious and aligned with who you are.
